CASTLE BATTLE

Castle Battle

Take the castle, keep it reinforced, and hold it long enough to win.

Know your role

Check your alliance's requirements and who's leading. Early Castle battles can be messy; coordination improves as the kingdom finds its rhythm.

Rally lead
Assigned attacker. Builds the rally kit and stats; launches attacking rallies.
Garrison lead
Assigned defender. Builds toward 5★ heroes, strong defender widgets and the core stats to hold.
Joiners
Meet the alliance's troop-tier, hero, skill-level and march-size requirements.
Build for your assignment

Agree your role before spending. Offensive and defensive leads may be different players; later generations give accounts more room to specialise. Match heroes, widgets, gear, charms and research to that role.

Keep designated leads available for their jobs. Prioritise the best available troop tiers among other players for the castle garrison. Those players can also join attacking rallies too.

Hold the castle

The King's Castle sits between four turrets. Your alliance wins on occupation time; personal battle points have their own rewards.

2½ hours held

KvK requires a consecutive early hold. Otherwise, the longest occupation wins at the end. Check your live Rules and timer. Event rules

Take the turrets too

A hostile turret fires on the castle garrison, faster as occupation continues. Your own team's turrets spare it. Taking turrets helps you break a hold and protect your own.

Local Castle Battle and KvK

Local Castle Battle is an alliance contest within your kingdom. KvK adds Kingdom of Power preparation and cross-kingdom rules. Check the KvK screen for access, ownership and turret bonuses.

Rally timing and movement

Close arrivals give defenders less time to reinforce, but each rally fights separately against the current occupant. Assembly and travel time both affect arrival.

Ruins slow marches. The alert-zone rebellion forces cities out before battle; wait for it to end before moving back.
